El otro día comentaba con unas amigas que últimamente se ha "puesto de moda" las chicas que tienen las dos palas de la dentadura separadas, como ya llevaran y pusieran de moda algunas famosas del estilo de
Briggite Bardot o
Jane Birkin.
The other day I was discusing with some friends that lately it's "in" those girls whose teeth are separated, as some celebrities did like Briggite Bardot or Jane Birkin.

En la actualidad, son
muchas celebrities de la talla de Georgia Jagger, Madonna o Lara Stone cuyos dientes están separados por el medio, lo que también se conoce como
gapped tooth o en su forma clínica
"diastema". Está genial que se acepten tal y cómo son y que incluso durante un tiempo sea más llamativo este tipo de chicas.

David Delfin pidió que le separaran los dientes como metáfora de "la separación que él sentía".
It gives them a sexy and self-confident appearance. But, how far can this trend go? Until the point of some people getting operated to have their diastema? As they say, designer David Delfin asked his dentist when his father died to separate his teeth as a metaphor of the separation he felt.

Los diseñadores y las firmas piden imperfecciones, y la gente se
vuelve loca por conseguirlas. En mi opinión, es
bastante extremo. Si naces con ello bien, si no, no pides que te los separen. Cuando ya no se lleve, volverás a juntarlos? Es un poco locura. Sabíais algo? Qué opináis vosotros?
Designers and brands ask for imperfections, and people go insane to get them. In my opinion, is really extreme. If you were born with it perfect, if don't you don't ask to get them separated!
