Es probable que no sepáis ni quién es, pero hace bastante hablé muy brevemente de ella en un post sobre la serie de televisión 90210. Probably you won't even notice who she is, but long time ago I wrote about her in a post about 90210 show. Some of you will recognize her for her role of Ivy Sullivan in that show.
Pues bien, como ya comento en ese post, 90210 es una serie de un grupo de jóvenes de Beverly Hills. Con sus fiestas, sus rollos, sus actividades, etc. El papel de Ivy entra en escena en la segunda temporada. Su estilo la convierte en la chica que va con los chicos. Vamos a analizar sus mejores looks. Well, as I already said on that post, 90210 is a show about Beverly Hills teens. With their parties, their messes, their activities, etc. Ivy's role appears on the second season. Her style turns her into the girl that hangs out with the guys. Lets analize her best looks.

Desde que salió Gossip Girl siempre ha sido una de las series que más nos ha inspirado en cuanto a las tendencias y la moda. De hecho, si miramos las primeras temporadas, seguramente veamos cosas que en su momento nos parecieron ideales pero que ahora no queremos ni ver. Por eso, vamos a hacer un repaso de los looks más llamativos de esta quinta temporada, y concretamente el de una de sus protagonistas, Blair Waldorf, cuyo estilo está cambiando notablemente por motivos del guión, que no diré por si alguien empieza ahora a ver la serie. Since Gossip Girl was released, it has always been one of the most fashion inspiring shows. In fact, if we check the earliest seasons, we'd probably see things we thought they were adorable, but now we don't even want to think about them. That's why we are going to have a quick look to the outfits of this fifth season, and specially to Blair Waldorf's style, which has change a little because of its script, and I won't say more just in case someone is watching the show for the first time.
BLAIR WALDORF (Leighton Meester)
Nada que ver con esa pequeña Queen B que nos presentaban al principio con un estilo un tanto repipi, que nunca se separaba de sus diademas. Ahora Blair sigue vistiendo clásica pero más natural. En esta temporada va más recatada y elegante. Los complementos son en muchas ocasiones la base de sus looks, y los peinados adquieren movimiento y espontaneidad respecto de temporadas anteriores. Nothing to do with that little Queen B we met at the beggining with a hoity-toity style, that never went out without her hairbands. Now, Blair still wearing clasic clothing but much more natural. In this season, she dresses more demure and elegant. The accesories many times are her outfit's base, and her hairstyle acquires motion and spontaneity if we compare with previous seasons.
SERENA VAN DER WOODSEN (Blake Lively):
Serena no ha cambiado demasiado en las últimas temporadas. Viste más de calle y looks más complicados. Cambia frecuentemente de peinado y los complementos dan mucha fuerza a sus estilismos. Serena hasn't changed too much on latest seasons. She wears more wearable looks, and complicated outfits. She usually changes he hairstyle and the accesories are strong helpers.
MODA MASCULINA EN GOSSIP GIRL (MENSWARE ON GOSSIP GIRL):
Si te fijas en la ropa de los chicos de Gossip Girl, dicen a gritos "vivimos en el Upper East Side de Nueva York". Siempre elegantes y clásicos, recurriendo al traje, a las camisas, a las corbatas y en ocasiones polos de golf. Colores oscuros y peinados arreglados. En esta última temporada podríamos decir que el estilo de Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) es más desenfadado. Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) sigue en su línea, pues en pocas ocasiones se quita el traje. Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) ha mejorado considerablemente y es quien aporta los looks menos sofisticados y más de calle. If you observe guys' clothing on Gossip Girl, the are yelling "we live on New York's Upper East Side". Always clasic and elegants, wearing suits, shirts, ties and sometime golfer polos. Dark coulours and tidy hairstyles. Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) is the casualest one. Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) is on his same old line, in few occasions takes her suit off. Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) has improved considerably and he's the one who gives us the less sofisticated and street looks.
